Pedra da Gávea

Imposing, physically demanding and exuberantly beautiful, Pedra da Gávea is perhaps the most coveted among the mountains of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The access trail is long and not recommended on hot days. On weekends it can get crowded due to the large number of tourists.

The indicated route is Passage of the Eyes. An easy route, on average 4º, but impressive for its height, verticality and for being practically all horizontal.
